William Krehm

William P. Krehm (1901 - 1968) was active/lived in California, Kansas.  William Krehm is known for Landscape and some figure painting.

Krehm was born February 2, 1901 in Kansas City.  Pupil of Dana Bartlett, William T. McDermitt, Jack Wilkinson Smith, and James Swinnerton. Lived in Banning, CA from the early 1930s.  Taught adult education in Palm Springs, CA.

Member: Society for Sanity in Art; Desert Art Center, Palm Springs, CA; California Art Club; Painters & Sculptors of Los Angeles; Artists of the Southwest.

Exhibitions: Golden Gate International Exhibition, 1939; Arizona State Fair, 1941; Painters & Sculptors of Los Angeles, 1944, 1947; California Palace of the Legion of Honor, 1945.

Awards: Painters & Sculptors Club, 1944, 1947; Artists of the Southwest, 1946, 1947; Traditional American Art Club, Los Angeles, 1947.
