Woody Gwyn

Woody Gwyn (Born 1944) is active/lives in New Mexico.  Woody Gwyn is known for Super real panoramic landscape.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Woody Gwyn grew up on the stripped-down landscapes around Midland, Texas.  He attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and returned to Texas to become a painter.

In1976, he became a resident of Galisteo, New Mexico from where he paints surrounding landscapes including Canyon de Chelly.  He is noted for contemporary, large-scale landscape paintings that often include reminders of modern life such as interstate highways.
