Cecilia Barreto (Born 1985) is active/lives in Mexico.  Cecilia Barreto is known for Painting.

Cecilia Barreto holds a Master in Visual Arts from the Faculty of Arts and Design of UNAM.  She is currently a Fellow of the BBVA Bancomer-MACG program.  In 2016 she was the winner of the first place in the contest Parameter Art Lumen 2nd edition. She received the Adidas Border Scholarship, as well as the Young Creators program of FONCA.  Her work has been selected in competitions like the XVI Biennial of Painting Rufino Tamayo and received the Honorable Mention in the 8th National Biennial of Painting and Engraving Alfredo Zalce. 

She has participated in more than 50 group exhibitions, among which "Fábulas sin moraleja" (The Overflow of Corruption in Mexico) presented at Casa del Lago in 2017, "Notes for an (economic) sentimental education" at the Museo Universitario del Chopo, "The future is not written" presented at Palazzo Cinni in the official programming of the 56th Venice International Art Exhibition in 2015 and "I know your father does not understand   ...  [Displaying 1000 of 2155 characters.]  Artist bio
