David Noll (Born 1951) is active/lives in Louisiana, Mississippi.  David Noll is known for Waterfowl and landscape paintings, conservation stamp design.

A well-known New Orleans artist and teacher once described David Noll as the "poet of Louisiana landscape painters.  Over the years, Noll has quietly explored southeast Louisiana's bayous, swamps, lakes and marshes in search of that unmarred beauty of the wilderness and natural landscape.  To Noll, his paintings are not only expressions of what he sees during his forays into the landscape but also are expressions of who he is.

"I think a lot of what I put on canvas is an expression of my subconscious and is beyond the realm of words and reason," he said in 2013. "I simply ne er wanted or learned to do anything else, and I thought painting landscapes would be a practical excuse for being outdoors in places I love.  I receive nourishment from those places, and I hope my paintings convey the sense of each and renewal I find there.
