Ernst Gradischnig

Ernst Gradischnig (Born 1949) is active/lives in Austria.  Ernst Gradischnig is known for Painting.

Ernst Gradischnig studied at the École ABC de Paris and from 1978 he studied printmaking and lithography in Salzburg under Professor Herbert Breiter.  After completing his studies, Gradischnig operated his own lithography workshop in Klagenfurt.  In 1990 he chose to complete further training and learned the art of ceramic wall design under Karl Schüssler in Wolfsburg.  Many travels in the following years took him to France, Italy, Africa, Hungary and Russia.

His works are found today in the Albertina in Vienna, in the Landesgalerie Klagenfurt, in the Essl Collection, as well as in other collections in Germany and Austria.
