Fritz Von Graevenitz was born in 1892, in Stuttgart.  Fritz was a sculptor and teacher in Germany. 

In 1919, the artist studied fine art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart with professors Ludwig Habich and Alfred Lörcher.  In 1920, he began exchange studies to Starnberg to Gustav Britsch- Institute of Fine Arts.

In 1921, he began his work as a freelance artist at Solitude.  In 1937, he was appointed by Graevenitz as a teacher of sculpture at the Stuttgart Academy of Fine Arts.  A year later he was appointed director.

Fritz Von Graevenitz passed away in 1959.
