Janusz Stanny

He is a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He created graphics, illustrations, posters, drawings and animated films. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the studio of prof. Henryk Tomaszewski. He received his diploma in 1957. Winner of the Prime Minister's Award for artistic work for children and youth in 1974, 1983, 1987. He presented his works at many individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including: Warsaw 1965, 1972, 1986, 1979 , 1996, 2000, 2001, 2002; Radom 1976; Zamosc 1987; Piotrków Trybunalski 1992; Sandomierz 1993; Plock 1993; Tarnów 1994; Olsztyn 1998; Plonsk 2002. He took part in numerous collective exhibitions, where he received many awards and distinctions, including: 2nd prize in the competition for illustrations to "Don Quixote" by M.
