Manfred Feiler was born in 1925 in Plauen, Germany. Feiler became a painter, designer and illustrator From 1939-43 he was a student of Plauen Art School, where he was sponsored by Kurt Geipel and Walter Löbering. In 1943, Feiler served in the military during World War II and suffered severe injuries. After 1945, he held temporary employment as an advertising designer and designer for textile companies. He was a freelance artist from 1952 with painting stays in Venice and Mallorca. In 2011, Manfred Feiler was appointed as honorary citizen of Plauen where he remained active.Vollmer, Frank White "painting in Vogtland" and Internet.
