Martin Eder was born in Augsburg in 1968.  Eder trained as a communication designer in 1993 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg.  He then studied for a year at the University of Kassel before he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden completing the master class of Eberhard Bosslet in 2001.  During his studies, Martin Eder made the jointly organized, with Lisa Junghanss, cross-media art project `Novaphorm` sensation.  It also included a temporary hotel next to a club and drug packaging.

Even today, Martin Eder's art work is varied.  Since 2003 he has entered his work under the pseudonym Richard Ruin as a singer and guitarist of the band RUIN.  During his master student studying he was equipped with numerous scholarships.  Martin Eder's work received large national and international acclaim.  His paintings have been in many solo exhibitions including among others in the Kunstverein Potsdam (2003), in the New York Marianne B   ...  [Displaying 1000 of 1080 characters.]  Artist bio
