Our work is from the Berlin artist's early oeuvre while he was teaching at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Berlin from 1971 to 1981. The scene shows a landscape, conceivably a park or forest. The composition is dominated by the low horizon, which takes up two third of the picture and is a characteristic feature of the artist's style. Within its small format the scene is characterised by its mood, the few clouds, which are delicately depicted in pink, are shown without sunlight. Instead the artist utilises moments that arise from the light itself.
