Michel Biot (1936 - 2020) was active/lived in France.  Michel Biot is known for Absract, non objective painting.

Michel Biot studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. Strongly inspired by the elements of nature, he expresses in his paintings, emotions, inner forces, the life of the elements of nature.

His work, with musical accents, explores the vertigo of space. Through abstraction, he offers a striking view of nature, original and passionate.

His works have been acquired by collectors and institutions: City of Paris Museum of Modern Art in Paris, Ministry of Culture, National Fund for Contemporary Art, the Museum of Fine Arts in Dijon, Boulogne, Rouen, Nassau , San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Lausanne, Brussels.
Michel Biot was born in Lyon in 1936. From 1952 to 1955, he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Lyon and worked in 1960 in the studio Robert Lapoujade.
