Czech painter, based in Liekov, Bohemia.. Father of Jan. Studied 1903/11 at the Wiener Akad. with R. Bacher u. K. Pochwalski.  Since 1913 in Rome, where he worked especially as a portrait painter.  Since 1925, based in Liékov.  Portraits, figurative, still life painting.

In d. Milan Gall. be self-portrait d ?? Arte Mod. other works in Venice, Brussels (Musée Mod.) and in the Prague National.-Gallery. Special exhibitions 1929, in Prague in 1930
