Aryanpour's distinctive style of painting is characterized by abstract opaque white forms symbolically evoking rhythmic patterns of calligraphy.  Set against darker shades of red or black, these fluid quasi 'light trail' forms floating in the ether, create an intriguing sense of suspense and mystery, an intangible moment, always out of reach of the beholder.  As if to perpetuate this transience, he calls his creations "accidental events", seemingly with no beginning or end.

The artist first started painting as a means of escaping the mundane academic atmosphere of the educational system. "I failed to understand the relevance of the subjects being taught to my daily life.  I opted to enter the art academy and that marked the beginning of my journey into the world of art, a world in which I learned to discover myself."
