Rainer Dorwarth (Born 1924) is active/lives in Germany, France.  Rainer Dorwarth is known for Abstract painting, mosaics, printmaking.

Rainer Dorwarth, who now lives in Freiburg, was born in 1924 in Welver / Westphalia and, after war service and imprisonment, studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Freiburg with Professor A. Strübe.

He created oil paintings, watercolors and drawings, woodcuts, and especially pointed out numerous commissions for stained glass windows and wall paintings, mosaics and graffiti.

From 1968 to 1980 Rainer Dorwarth was CEO of the Professional Association of Visual Artists in South Baden.
