Samuel Sydney Fullbrook (1922 - 2004) was active/lived in Australia.  Samuel Fullbrook is known for Painting.

After becoming a professional painter in 1949, Sam Fullbrook lead a peripatetic existence, living and painting in Melbourne, the Pilbara, Sydney, the Darling River, Brisbane, Buderim, the Darling Downs, Columbus Ohio, Sydney again and in his last years Tylden, outside Melbourne.  In each new place, he followed the same routine to work his way into the new landscape - for the landscape, its colors, shapes and light, has always been at the center of his art.

Beginning with pastels, he moved to oils developing a palette as he went.  Once he felt comfortable he searched for subjects and themes with which to people the landscape.  Fullbrook's art changed over the years as his early interest in tonal painting gave way to a lighter touch with the brush and a growing interest in color.
