Simona Weller (Born 1940) is active/lives in Italy.  Simona Weller is known for Geometric abstract painting.

Simona Weller was born in 1940 in Rome. Her first drawing teacher has been Leoncillo Leonardi, who very soon recognized and encouraged her talent. After the high school (liceo classico) in Rome, she applied to the Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied with Ferruccio Ferrazzi, Mario Mafai and Mino Maccari.

During the Sixties she obtained few grants from UNESCO and so she travelled to Thailand, Egipt, Spain.

In 1961 Simona Weller married the play-writer Roberto Veller Fornasa with whom she lived and had two children: David (1962) and Micol (1964). Soon after, she chose to live in the countryside in Taizzano di Narni.

But at the beginning of the 1970s Simona divorced from her husband, and then she went back to Rome. Here, while teaching painting disciplines as an assistant of Giulio Turcato, she lived with the poet and critic Cesare Vivaldi.
