Tom Hardy attended Oregon State University attaining a BS:1942 MFA: 1952

 Exhibitions include the Metropolitan Museum and Museum of Modern art NYC, Detroit art institute, LA county museum, De Young Museum, San Francisco as well as museums in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro Brazil, and artist’s teaching residencies at the University of British Columbia, Reed College, University of California, Tulane University and the University of Oregon.

Corporate collections include Lloyd center Portland, Hilton Hotels, Portland Lumber Co., the Pacific Building and numerous other public buildings and banks, hospitals, and schools both in Portland and across the country. (and numerous other corporate and private collections). Tom’s work is also in the collection of major museums throughout America.
