Tjipke Visser (1876 - 1955) was active/lived in Netherlands.  Tjipke Visser is known for Sculpture.

Tjipke Visser first attended the Rijksnormaalschool voor Arts and Crafts in Amsterdam and then continued his training at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, also in Amsterdam. He was a pupil of Derk Huibers and Ludwig Jünger. After ten years of working in Amsterdam, he settled in 1907 in the northern Dutch artist village of Bergen. He was one of the first artists to discover Bergen as an inspiring place to work, and more artists soon followed his example, forming the so-called Bergense School.A portion of Visser’s work consists of animal figures, inspired by his visits to Artis Zoo. He also created various statues of public figures, including sculptures of Abraham Kuyper and Carel Steven Adama van Scheltema in Amsterdam, and of Pieter Jelles Troelstra in Leeuwarderadeel.
