Xin was born in Sichuan in 1966, China, and graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.  Xin had held several solo and associated exhibitions in China.  His works expressed how people changed their ways of living when China is urbanized in an extremely high speed.  Figures in his paintings have eyes that gaze, and they are mostly in the middle of certain movements.  Sizes of his paintings are special-made, similar to the pantoscope of screens, which is the artist's special way to observe this world.  It strengthened and emphasized the absurdity when the society changes dramatically.
