Abdul Aziz (1928 - 2002) was active/lived in Indonesia.  Abdul Aziz is known for Painting.

Abdul Aziz, was born in Purwokerto, Central Java in 1928, and showed precocious artistic talent from childhood. His first Diploma was in Social Sciences from Gajah Mada University, after which he studied Art at the Indonesian Fine Arts Academy (ASRI) in Jogyakarta. Due to his exceptional talent he was awarded a scholarship to study at the Academia di Belle Arti in Rome in 1958, where he was awarded two Diplomas: one in Painting and one in Decoration. On his return to Indonesia in 1965 he lectured in Fine Art at Udayana University and established his studio in Ubud Bali. The strong influence of Ferdinand Waldmuller (1793-1865) was evident in Abdul Aziz as he was the only Indonesian artist to adopt 3 dimensional painting styles. He developed his naturalist, three-dimensional style for which he is now renowned. This style requires complete mastery of anatomy and light effects.
