Maybee Paintings On View: Charcoal Club Exhibition of His Works Largely Attended.

The exhibition of oil paintings, watercolors and sketches, by Mr. E.D. Maybee, regarded as one of the best known artists for his age in the country, began at 5 P.M. yesterday, and will continue until tomorrow evening, at the Charcoal Club. Almost the entire membership was at the club yesterday and last night, and a smoker was given during the evening. Several hundred specimens of the artist’s work adorn the walls of two rooms on the second floor, and each showed such evidences of a master hand that most favorable comments were heard from everyone present.
