Guillemette Morand was a painter born June 1, 1913 in Paris, located in the École de Montmartre. She lived in the city of Montmartre-aux-artistes (189, Rue Ordener in the 18th arrondissement of Paris) and died in 1989.

“Since her childhood, acrobats have haunted her. Born in Montmartre, but from a family from the north of France, she says that in this sad brick country, the balladins had an extraordinary prestige on her ”.

Thus in May 1958, Guillemette Morand hung on the picture rails of the Galerie Vendôme thirty-five canvases which she painted in 1957, setting out by the landscapes presented that she traveled that year in France, Spain and Italy , always placing there, among other things, ballads in correlation with his reminiscences of childish reveries.
