Martinez has been conscious that to create pure Experimental Art means commitment to an infinite sense of decorum and self effacement.
For him art exists "as is"; it is individual and is merely product of a brain activity.  The brain makes people's choices including what mediums to use and what imaginary patron of colors to apply. The brain is the boss that commands the movements of the hands. For Martinez, the importance of an artwork is proportional to its individuality and authenticity.  Daniel Martinez only signs his paintings after he deeply feels that it includes histories produced by conscious and unconscious decisions of his brain.
