John Savage Bolles (1905 - 1983) was active/lived in California.  John Bolles is known for Figure painting, murals.

John Savage Bolles was born in California on June 25, 1905.  While in San Francisco in the 1930s, Bolles assisted José Moya del Pino in murals for Treasure Island at the Golden Gate International Exposition.  He died in Sonoma, CA on March 5, 1983.
