José de Zamora, better known as Pepe or Pepito Zamora, (Madrid, 1892 - Sitges, 1971).José de Zamora, better known as Pepe or Pepito Zamora, participated fully in the artistic current known as art deco, a movement that produced an elegant, decorative and, in great part, ephemeral art. Within this trend, Zamora created a refined and original style of drawing, much imitated during his lifetime and yet almost forgotten today. On the fiftieth anniversary of his death, the Regional Library of Madrid wishes to contribute to the recovery of his memory by making known the artist's works preserved in its collection.
