Born in Lodz, Poland, he has always shown manual talent, he carried out his works while staying in the circles of people who love art.

He submitted papers to the art high school, unfortunately his sculpture of General Józef Pilsudski appeared in the works prepared for the entrance exam, which was not approved by the high school authorities. As a rebellious teenager, he ran away from Poland at the age of 17 to Yugoslavia, where he spent two weeks in Belgrade in the Refugee Camp after which he was expelled from it due to his being a minor.

He lived in Belgrade, then Zagreb, painting and selling paintings; in this way he collected money for a ticket to Venice, which he did not reach as he was detained at the border in Trieste and deported to Poland.
