Steve Broder was born in Montreal, Canada on Aug. 4, 1906. Broder worked in San Francisco as a commercial artist from 1928 until retiring in the 1970s. He continued to paint fine art at his home in San Francisco until his demise on Oct. 28, 1992. Exh: Oakland Art Gallery, 1931; San Francisco Art Association, 1931; Calif. Statewide (Santa Cruz), 1931.
