Art J. Meyers (1910 - 2005) was active/lived in Colorado, Pennsylvania.  Art Meyers is known for Illustration commercial art, cartoons and painting.

Art Meyers was a noted illustrator*, commercial artist*, cartoonist* and fine artist*. During his long career, he lived and worked in Pittsburgh, New York City, Miami and Denver.

A Pennsylvanian by birth, Meyers studied at Carnegie Tech and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.  His early endeavors were spent painting theatrical stage sets and drops. He worked on such productions as the Ziegfeld Follies, Earl Carroll's Vanities, and a variety of sets for vaudeville.  Later, in the field of advertising he did illustrations for United States Steel, City of Miami Beach, Rheingold Beer, Gulf Oil, Ron Rico Rum, and Aluminum Company of America.  His work appeared in the Saturday Evening Post, Time, Life, National Geographic, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and numerous specialized publications.
