"Sculpture is a medium-in-motion, eluding concise definition. Linked to urbanism, architecture, and acoustic and visual perception, it is a charged territory that mirrors political, social and technological developments.  As part of exploring how contemporary artists think about sculpture, SculptureCenter, in collaboration with the Vera List Center for Art and Politics at The New School, presents a series of lectures in which mid-career artists discuss specific works, bodies of work, texts, or personal anecdotes to outline their own version of sculpture's history.
