Harding Meyer, famous for his large-scale face painting, was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 1964.  He completed his education in Germany.  In 1987, he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe.  He was taught by Max Kaminsky and Helmut Dorner.  In 1993, Harding Meyer finished his studies with the status of a master student.

Harding Meyer's works are of great recognition and devoted to his life theme: the human face.  The face is also the focus of Harding Meyer's photographic work.  These occur in a highly original work of the creative process: the artist fragmented face photographs, collaged on standardized Styrofoam heads and recorded results in the medium of photography firm - a very sexy game with the genera, but also with appearance and reality, original and copy.
