René Saint-Marceaux (1845 - 1915) was active/lived in France.  Rene Saint Marceaux is known for Sculpture, medalist.

René Saint-Marceaux was born in 1845 in Reims. He was a pupil of the sculptor François Jouffroy and from 1905 studied at Académie des Beaux-Arts. He was a French sculptor and medalist who became known for his Universal Post Memorial in Bern. Many of his works are now in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris and in the streets and squares of Reims. He created the plaque for the Société française des Amis de la Médaille.Internet and Musée d'Orsay, Debuisson Fund.
