Rocco Lentini

Rocco Lentini (1858 - 1943) was active/lived in Italy.  Rocco Lentini is known for Painting, landscape, seascape.

Rocco Lentini was born in 1858 in Palermo, the son of a set designer, decorator of the Carolino-Bellini theater. Lentini's training took place between Bologna, Paris and Palermo and at the studio of his teacher Lojacono. He took part in the decoration of several Art Nouveau buildings in Palermo, such as the Politeama Garibaldi theater, the vault of the Massimo theater and Villa Whitaker. Rocco Lentini was one of the protagonists of the artistic life of Palermo and the last part of his life took place in Venice, where he participated in two Biennials, in 1905 and in 1922. Among his most frequent subjects we can admire Sicilian landscapes and bright seascapes.
