Ahmad Morshedloo was born in Mashhad, Iran in 1973. At present, he lives and works in Tehran, Iran. He received a BFA in painting from Azad University, Tehran in 1999 and in 2001 obtained an MFA in painting from the University of Art, Tehran. Morshedloo has exhibited predominantly in Iran but has been displayed internationally too, notably in the group shows Broken Promises, Forbidden Dreams for the Iran Heritage Foundation at Art, London as well as Unveiled: New Art from the Middle East at the Saatchi Gallery, London.
