Miguel Angel Alamilla (Born 1955) is active/lives in Mexico.  Miguel Alamilla is known for Painting.

He is a Mexican painter and drawing specialist and graduated from La Esmeralda institution where he also practiced as a teacher for several years.  In 1986, he directed a seminar for artists in the House of Culture of Monterrey and since 1993 was a member of the National System of Creators.

His style makes him part of a generation of artists that was influenced by the historical moments through which the country passed.  Over time, he structured his own artistic language and created a necessary relationship with abstractionism, giving the viewer an infinite independence to interpret his work.

In 1996, the exhibition he held at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City was a revelation in the panorama of abstract painting in Mexico. "Inevitably, I use the same language in everything, and I always do the same, but every beginning is a different ambition." Miguel Ángel Alamilla.
