KG Nilson is a Swedish visual artist, best known for his popular colorful geometric and concrete compositions. He studied at Valand Art School in Gothenburg in 1961, at Atelier 17 in Paris in 1962 and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm 1963-1968.

Nilson was a teacher at Konstfack in Stockholm and taught color theory from 1972-1983 and was 1983-1993 a professor of graphic art at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts.

Represented at the British Museum in London, Kupferstichkabinett in Dresden, Moderna museet and Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Kalmar Art Museum, Nordic Watercolor Museum, Norrköping Art Museum and other museums in Sweden, Amos Andersons Art Museum in Helsinki, Muzeum Sztuki in Lodz.
