Markus Muntean and Adi Rosenblum are an artist collective from Austria who have been working together since 1992. They co-founded the artist-run gallery scene in Vienna from 1995 to 1998 and have since participated in numerous international exhibitions. Their drawings employ the technique of sampling and resampling pictorial themes from art history and contemporary popular culture. The basketball player in their drawing represents targeted focus on what is personally important, while the world around it stands still.
