When Victor Orozco was born, his mother said: "a cha'ca was born (a woodpecker)" when she saw that it was a male.  That story was relayed to the artist, who decided to take up the anecdote for his name.  Víctor Cha'ca forms his work of experiences, of fantastic stories, of themes that he is passionate about, for example the theme of nahuales.  Cha'ca mentioned: "They go out at night, in pair to transform into animals and play among them, erotic games, that is said in Juchitán, before dawn they return to their normal state as if they were witches."  All these legends are what Victor Cha'ca brings to his work, as well as the daily moments and the colors of the parties of Juchitán, which he sees in women's costumes: "My land arises spontaneously in my work, a piece does not give me satisfaction if these colors are not present ".
