Ramos holds a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts from ENAP and a Master's Degree in Painting from the Academia de San Carlos.

His participation in biennials and contests has been extensive, with his selection at the Diego Rivera Drawing and Print Biennial, the National Painting and Engraving Biennial Alfredo Zalce and the Pedro Coronel Painting Biennial.

Ramos has been a fellow of the Young Creators program of FONCA.
