Yiwen Liu

Yiwen Liu (Born 1941) is active/lives in China.  Yiwen Liu is known for Nudes and still life painting.

Born in Wuhan in 1941.  He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the National Arts School.  He has been a professor of Hubei Art College and Hubei Painting College, mentor of postgraduates, vice chancellor of Hubei Art College, member of the Chinese Painters' Association, Councilor of Hubei Painters' Association and Oil Painting Institute as well as having been a member of the communist party.  Since his student days, his paintings have been selected by national and international exhibitions, including solo exhibitions held in Wuhan, Taipei and Paris.  Many of his works have been collected by public organizations and private individuals.  Representative works include "Jingpo Girls," "On the Silk Road," "Flag" and "Peach."  Published albums include "Liu Yiwen Oil Painting Album" and "Liu Yiwen Figurative Sketches."
